Recording session at EMI Studios No. 2 (14:30–22:00) during which they recorded You Never Give Me Your Money.

First session for ‘Abbey Road’. George Martin recalled: “I thought that after ‘Get Back’ I’d never work with them again. I thought, what a shame to go out that way. So I was quite surprised when Paul rang me up and said, ‘We’re going to make another record, would you like to produce it?’ And my immediate answer was, ‘Only if you let me produce it the way we used to.’ And he said to me, ‘We want to do that.’ And I said, ‘John included?’ And he said, ‘Yes, honestly.’ So I said, ‘If you really want me to do that, let’s do it and get together again.’ And it was a very happy record.
