Performance at the Star-Club in Hamburg, West Germany, as part of their Star-Club residency.

Their first gig at The Star-Club, sharing sets with Little Richard and Gene Vincent. The club was run by their old friend Horst Fascher, who had moved from the Top Ten to front the club down the road. He was already making a big name for himself because he hosted legends like Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis (who later cut a live album there). But anyone who expected to see the same old show was sorely disappointed, because Brian had completely revolutionised their stage-act. Gone were the leather jackets, the shouting, swearing and fighting on stage, and in were the smart suits, even smarter haircuts and regulated stage-sets. The Beatles were now a professional rock ‘n’ roll band.
