Recording session at EMI Studios No. 2 (19:00–23:15) during which they recorded Help!.

There was also a recording session for the radio show ‘Pop Inn’ at the Twickenham Studios This show was transmitted live (BBC Light Programme) and featured interviews with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Paul bought his house in Cavendish Avenue, St. John’s Wood for forty grand. It took him ten months to fix up, so he didn’t move in until March ’66. One of the first things he did was buy an old sheepdog called Martha to keep Jane company, and then he wrote a song about the hairy-faced old bitch. (Martha – I’m talking about Martha!) He also got some cats called Mary, Jesus and Joseph. “Jesus ran off,” he said. “Jospeh stuck around for a long time and then Mary had kittens.” is not affiliated with or approved by The Beatles, Apple, MPL, EMI or Capitol Records.
