Brian checked-out of The Priory Clinic and hosted a little party round his house, to celebrate the launch of ‘Sgt. Pepper’s’. After it was all over Paul went on to the Bag O’Nails Club, in St. John’s Wood. The owner said: “It was a soul club really, but when the hippies started coming down it was like having a hundred Quasimodos in – you couldn’t hear the band for all the fucking bells.
