The Beatles announced that they’d be representing England in the first-ever worldwide television satellite link-up, to take place on the 25th June. They spent the rest of the day recording backing vocals for The Rolling Stones protest hit ‘We Love You’ (in reference to their forthcoming drugs trial). The famous American poet Allen Ginsberg attended the session and described them as “two young princes in all their finery.” is not affiliated with or approved by The Beatles, Apple, MPL, EMI or Capitol Records.
