Performance at the Cow Palace in San Fransisco, USA, attended by 17,130 people, as part of their First American Tour. They played Twist And Shout, You Can’t Do That, All My Loving, She Loves You, Things We Said Today, Roll Over Beethoven, Can’t Buy Me Love, If I Fell, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Boys, A Hard Day’s Night and Long Tall Sally.

Their first concert on the American tour was at the Cow Palace, San Francisco. Reporter Larry Kane described the pandemonium in his good book ‘Ticket To Ride’: “The Bill Black Combo, Jackie DeShannon and The Righteous Brothers were the opening acts. When Brian and I made our way to the rear of the arena, we could see rows and rows of hyperactivity. Already, teenagers were stomping their feet on the ground, creating a rumble that resembled thunderclaps… From the rear, a group of fanatics started screaming in unison, ‘We want The Beatles! We want The Beatles! We want The Beatles!’ Suddenly, led by John, The Beatles bounded onto the stage looking buoyant and thrilled to be there.
