After the final session for ‘Sgt. Pepper’s’ they went round Mama Cass’s house (of The Mamas and Papas), and stuck a couple of radios on the ledge and played it full-blast out the window. Derek Taylor remembered: “All of the windows opened and people leaned out, wondering. It was obvious who it was on the record. Nobody complained. A lovely spring morning.
