Ringo had his tonsils out, and his singing was never the same again. A BBC newsreader mistakenly announced that he’d “had his toenails taken out.” Thousands of fans wrote in asking if they could keep them, but Ringo announced that no one was getting them – because he was going to burn them. Spoilsport.
