Performance at the Stadium in Rushcutter’s Bay, Sydney, Australia, as part of their World Tour. They played I Saw Her Standing There, I Want To Hold Your Hand, You Can’t Do That, All My Loving, She Loves You, Till There Was You, Roll Over Beethoven, Can’t Buy Me Love, This Boy and Long Tall Sally.

There was also a recording session for the radio show ‘Roundabout’ This show was transmitted on 27th June (BBC Light Programme) and featured interviews with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Someone in the audience chucked an egg at John’s foot, and he shouted out: “What d’you think I am, a salad?” And the jelly-baby throwing business that started up a few months ago really started to hack them off. Everywhere they went they were met with a shower of jelly bullets. Paul actually had to stop a few concerts and ask them to cease, but each time he did it, he was pelted with thousands more of the fucking things! He said: “We’d step in them and they’d stick to our guitar leads and our shoes. The kids must’ve thought I was trying out some new dance steps, but I was always just trying to get unstuck. And we didn’t even eat them!”
