Performance at the Paramount Theatre in New York, USA, attended by 3,682 people, as part of their First American Tour. They played Twist And Shout, You Can’t Do That, All My Loving, She Loves You, Things We Said Today, Roll Over Beethoven, Can’t Buy Me Love, If I Fell, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Boys, A Hard Day’s Night and Long Tall Sally.

Brian accused Derek Taylor of taking his limo without permission and they had a massive row. Derek promptly resigned and Brian accepted. Derek said: “He handed me a note saying that he might have been a bit hasty… and then he started to cry. But I needed to get away from all the hysteria and become normal again.” He was replaced by Wendy Hanson. He carried on working for three months to show her the ropes, and then got a job with Radio KRLA in Los Angeles. He moved his family over in February ’65, and became a public relations consultant for Prestige Promotions in April ’68.
