Performance at the Coliseum in Seattle, USA, attended by 14,382 people, as part of their First American Tour. They played Twist And Shout, You Can’t Do That, All My Loving, She Loves You, Things We Said Today, Roll Over Beethoven, Can’t Buy Me Love, If I Fell, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Boys, A Hard Day’s Night and Long Tall Sally.

This month-long tour was completely crazy. Everywhere they went were thousands of screaming kids and hard-pressed coppers. Girls tried sneaking into their room dressed as maids. Others claimed they’d made a reservation, and when that didn’t work they climbed up the garbage shoot, or shunted up the freight elevator! They’d camp outside the hotel till the early hours of the morning, and scream every time someone walked past the window. It got so bad that the police had to tell the other guests to stay away from the fucking curtains! Eventually they had to erect an eight-foot fence on the other side of the street and ordered all of the kids behind it.
