Performance at the Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, Minneapolis, USA, attended by 25,000 people, as part of their Second American Tour. They played Twist And Shout, She’s A Woman, I Feel Fine, Dizzy Miss Lizzy, Ticket To Ride, Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby, Can’t Buy Me Love, Baby’s In Black, Act Naturally, A Hard Day’s Night, Help! and I’m Down.

Larry Kane described the relaxing ride to Portland: “My seat was on the right side of the plane, and my head was leaning against the window. I was in that position, several hours later, when my eyelids popped open in reaction to what appeared to be a bright light off the wing. Was I dreaming? I looked again. My adrenaline surged. There, in front of my eyes, was a fire, racing out of the right engine on the wing. Smoke was pouring out of the engine and trailing the aircraft. I got up, stepped on or over the person sitting next to me, quickly ran to the front of the plane and slammed my fist into the door of the flight deck. No reply.
