The Beatles attended a garden party at Alan Livingston’s house (the boss of Capitol Records). It was one of those horrible meet-and-greet fundraisers (“Buy a ticket and meet The Beatles,” went the blurb) in aid of the Haemophilia Foundation. Numerous dignitaries dropped by, including Lloyd Bridges and his 14-year-old kid Jeff, Jack Palance, Dean Martin, Richard Chamberlain, Rock Hudson, Hayley Mills, Shelly Winters and Jack Lemmon. (Not a bad little collection.) is not affiliated with or approved by The Beatles, Apple, MPL, EMI or Capitol Records.
