The Beatles exchanged contracts with Brian. He took 25% of their earnings (before expenses), and the rest was split between them. This meant that Brian always earned considerably more than each individual Beatle – and this was in the days when a normal agent’s take was only 10%. (Although, to be fair to Brian, his split wasn’t ‘that’ high – because he acted as their manager and their agent – when most groups had one of each. And Elvis used to split his winnings 50/50 with Colonel Tom Parker.) is not affiliated with or approved by The Beatles, Apple, MPL, EMI or Capitol Records.
