The Beatles fulfilled their short-term contract with Berthold Kaempfert by recording another couple of songs with Tony Sheridan. These songs were ‘Sweet Georgia Brown’ and ‘Swanee River’, which have gone on to grace many a lousy album.

[N.B.: Perhaps now would be a good time to clear up the confusion over who exactly were ‘The Beat Brothers’, because any collector will tell you that Tony released far more songs with The Beat Brothers than the Beatles ever played on. The fact is that, ‘The Beat Brothers’ was a generic name that Tony used for ‘all’ of his backing bands, regardless of their members.
