John spent the morning driving around London in Bob Dylan’s limo. Their stoned conversation was supposed to form part of Bob’s new film, Eat The Document, but it was rejected by his management and lies gathering dust in some godforsaken place. The idea was for Bob to pick him up in Surrey, drive around Hyde Park for a few hours (partaking in hopefully witty chit-chat along the way) and drop him off at home. Unfortunately, the plan backfired somewhat when Dylan spent the previous night on the piss and struggled to keep the contents of his stomach inside his mouth. The film shows him saying: “Oh my God, I don’t wanna get sick in here” and “What if I vomit into the camera? I’ve done just about everything else into that camera, man.” The resulting footage didn’t exactly meet up to …
