Ringo flew to Rome to film his part in the X-rated ‘Candy’, which starred Ewa Aulin (a former Miss Teen Sweden). He played the part of Emmanuel – a Mexican gardener who spent the whole film trying to get Candy into bed. Lucky old Ringo got his first-ever screen kiss, and even tries having sex with her on a pool table! (Way’d it go, Ringo!) But despite a stellar cast, including Marlon Brando, Richard Burton, James Coburn, Walter Matthau and the boxer Sugar Ray Robinson, it was panned by the critics, and is best forgotten about. is not affiliated with or approved by The Beatles, Apple, MPL, EMI or Capitol Records.
