Recording session at EMI Studios No. 2 (10:00–13:30) during which they recorded Please Mister Postman and It Won’t Be Long.

A further session took place between 17:00–23:00 in Studio 2 at which they recorded Money (That’s What I Want), Till There Was You, Roll Over Beethoven, It Won’t Be Long and All My Loving.

There was also a recording session for the radio show ‘Non Stop Pop’ at the Playhouse Theatre This show was transmitted on 30th August (BBC Light Programme) and featured interviews with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

A further session for ‘Saturday Club’ took place later in the day at the Playhouse Theatre This show was transmitted on 24th August (BBC Light Programme).
