John and Yoko flew to Vienna to promote their new movie ‘Rape’. As the press fired off questions at the celebrity couple, they sat inside a white sheet bag singing songs and shouting. A paper summed it up perfectly: “Sacher’s – the one-time home of the Hapsburg dynasty – is in a rare state of panic this morning. Management and staff are in close consultation to decide whether to roll out the red carpet or pull up the drawbridge. They have only just realised that the reservation for a double apartment on the first floor, which was made by the Austrian television service, is for the two great lovers John and Yoko Lennon. The couple, who are due to arrive from Amsterdam any minute, have called a press conference at the hotel for this evening. They are here to watch the world premiere …
