This was the day when all hell broke loose! The first they knew about it was when their hotel refused to give room service. They awoke to headlines like “Imelda stood up!” and “The Beatles snub the First Lady!”, and they started getting death threats and the promoter refused to pay up. Brian tried to broadcast an apology on the telly, but every TV in the Philippines seemed to suffer from interference at that ‘exact’ moment. He decided that it would probably be best to just pack their bags and go, but when they arrived at the airport they were told that they couldn’t leave until they paid their ‘taxes’.
