Released their first single in the States: ‘Please Please Me / Ask Me Why’. It flopped. It didn’t even get into the charts! It wouldn’t be long before things turned around, however. Because exactly one year to this day they would fly into JFK under much different circumstances… is not affiliated with or approved by The Beatles, Apple, MPL, EMI or Capitol Records.
