Saturday, 16th April

Larry Parnes brought Eddie Cochran over from the States for a series of sell-out gigs with Gene Vincent. Sensing the potential, a local Liverpool promoter called Allan Williams approached Parnes with an offer to host a rock ‘n’ roll extravaganza at the Liverpool Stadium.

Saturday, 23rd April

Performance at the Fox and Hounds in Caversham, Berkshire.

John and Paul hitch-hiked to Paul’s cousin’s pub in Berkshire, called The Fox and Hounds. In between shifts behind the bar they performed a little set in the tap room, calling themselves The Nerk Twins.

Sunday, 24th April
