Sometime during July Al Caldwell’s Texans secured themselves a two-month summer season at Butlins in Pwllheli, North Wales. They immediately changed their name to Rory Storm and the Hurricanes and Ringo packed in his job at Henry Hunt’s and Sons.

Monday, 20th July

John got a job as a labourer at Scarisbrook Water Works, but got the boot four weeks later for being ‘unsuitable’. is not affiliated with or approved by The Beatles, Apple, MPL, EMI or Capitol Records.
