This is believed to be the first time that the word “Beatles” appeared in print, in the Heswall and Neston edition of the Birkenhead News.

Monday, 13th June

Performance at the Jacaranda Coffee Bar in Liverpool.

Tommy Moore quit the group because his girlfriend wanted him to get a proper job. Paul took over the drums for a brief period, until they found some other mug.
