Recording session at EMI Studios No. 3 (14:30–18:00) during which they recorded Hello, Goodbye.

Tuesday, 7th November

Recording session at EMI Studios No. 1 (21:00–04:30) during which they recorded Magical Mystery Tour.

Wednesday, 8th November

The US premiere of ‘How I Won The War’, in New York.

Friday, 17th November

The Beatles partnership, originally called Beatles Ltd., and now called Beatles and Co., changed it’s name to Apple Music Ltd. This change took effect on 4th December. But one month later, on the 12th January ’68, they chose to change it’s name again – to Apple Corps Ltd. This change took effect on the 9th February. (And the name has remained the same ever since.)

Tuesday, 21st November

Recording session for the TV show ‘Top Of The Pops’. This show was broadcast on 7th December (BBC1).

Friday, 24th November

‘Hello, Goodbye’ single – front cover ReleasedUK single. Hello, Goodbye Peak position: BBC – #1; Melody Maker – #1; NME – #1; Record Retailer – #1

Released a new UK single: ‘Hello, Goodbye / I Am The Walrus’. The stuffy BBC immediately banned ‘I Am The Walrus’ for using the word “knickers.”
