The Beatles’ diary -- October 1965

October 1965

Sometime in October (date unknown) Jane Asher joined the Bristol Old Vic, and started spending increasing amounts of time away from Paul. Although they patched things up enough to get engaged, you can hear a lot of bitter songs on ‘Rubber Soul’ and ‘Revolver’, i.e. ‘You Won’t See Me’, ‘I’m Looking Through You’ and ‘For No One’.
