The Beatles arrived back in the UK, and began a six-week break.

This was the day that Maureen gave birth to Ringo’s first son – and called him Zak. “It was a nice strong name,” said Ringo, ”and can’t be shortened – that was something I didn’t want at all.”

Saturday, 25th September

The Beatles’ Saturday morning cartoon show started showing in the US. This later gave rise to the ‘Yellow Submarine’ movie. is not affiliated with or approved by The Beatles, Apple, MPL, EMI or Capitol Records.
