The Beatles -- ‘Long Long Long’

Long, Long, Long (3.04)

George Harrison: Double-tracked lead vocal, acoustic guitar; Paul McCartney: Backing vocal, bass guitar, hammond organ; Ringo Starr: Drums;

On first listen you might thank that this is a love song, but it’s actually about God. “I can’t recall much about it except the chords,” said George, “which I think were coming from Bob Dylan’s ‘Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands’ – D to E minor, A, and D – those three chords and the way they moved.”

The song is mainly famous for the disembodied wail at the end. This was made by a wine bottle reverberating on top of Paul’s Leslie cabinet as he struck the last note.
