John Lennon: Lead vocal, electric piano; Paul McCartney: Lead guitar; Ringo Starr: Drums;

This was premiered during George’s strike in 1969. After he’d downed tools and flounced round to his mother’s house Paul was forced to take up the lead.

The first day’s play was just seven verses in a row because John hadn’t written a chorus yet. But after a few more attempts on the 22nd the whole thing was consigned to the dustbin. You can only get it on Beatle bootlegs.
