A revolution in the studio… because this was the first session that Yoko got to sit in. It was alright when she confined herself to the control room (treating George Martin to a rambling commentary on a hand-held tape-recorder) but when she shifted into the studio it became increasingly obvious that she was there to stay.

“That was when the rot set in,” remembered George, but John didn’t give a toss. “Yoko is now a part of me,” he explained. “In other words, as I have a right hand and left hand, so I have Yoko, and wherever I am, she is.”
