The Beatles -- ‘Suzy Parker’

‘Get Back’ sessions Suzy Parker

John Lennon: Lead vocal, rhythm guitar; Paul McCartney: Backing vocal, bass guitar; George Harrison: Backing vocal, lead guitar; Ringo Starr: Drums;

You sometimes see this listed as ‘Suzy’s Parlour’ on bootleg CDs, but its real name is ‘Suzy Parker’ – because they had to copyright it after it appeared in the ‘Let It Be’ movie. The name derived from various little ditties in the fifties – like the Everly Brothers’ ‘Wake Up Little Suzie’ and Richie Havens’ ‘That’s My Little Suzie’.

It was recorded during the ‘Get Back’ sessions in January ’69.
